"IF I could do anything in the world I would knock down three streets of houses and have the land back.

"Me and my fried, Emma Rowe, are on our school's environment committee.

"We want to win an Eco-School award from the Keep Britain Tidy group.

"We are helping to run the school's environmental project.

"In the conservation area we have planted daffodils, bluebells, snowdrops and crocuses.

"Last year we planted trees around the edge to form a border, today we are picking up litter and taking out weeds.

"The next thing we want to do is clear out the pond, but at the moment there is a lot of frogspawn in there so we must wait.

"We just can't say at the moment when we will start.

"It depends on when the frogspawn hatches and that is not our decision.

"That is something we have learned.

"We have this row of tyres and we are using them as plant pots.

"There is no point in throwing things away because it's destroying nature.

"If we recycle it we will teach the little ones about recycling as well.

"If we carry on destroying everything we won't have any sights to see.

"We want an Eco-School award so people can see how hard we are working to change things."
